R Designers
We give global award-winning sustainable designers a platform to showcase their ground-breaking circular talents.
We work with award-winning sustainable designers from around the world, the talented alumni of The Redress Design Award, the world’s largest sustainable design competition run by our sister charity, Redress.
Juliana Garcia Bello, Argentina
With her complex and mind-boggling reconstruction and design techniques, Juliana doesn’t just dream about making the near-impossible possible, she actually does it.
Grace Lant, Hong Kong
Grace held the reins on one of our biggest breakthrough capsules. Cue our contemporary knits pieces made using 100% recycled yarns, which boasts more innovation than you’ve had hot dinners!
Victor Chu, Hong Kong
Victor is the mastermind behind one of our latest reinventions of our bestsellers, who’s been one of R Designers since our inception. His ‘cool as a cucumber’ approach to tackling waste challenges - believe us there are many - and his charming design palette puts Victor on a design pedestal.
Meiyan Chan, Hong Kong
Meiyan combines her love of soft feminine design details with her no nonsense approach to designing into ‘waste’. You’ll just as easily find behind her design board as hiking Hong Kong’s trails with her rescue dog.
Ruth Weerasinghe, Sri Lanka
Ruth's waste stream of grimey industrial waste, like car airbags, tuk tuk covers and tyre waste, is at complete odds with this sweet, softly-spoken and ever-smiling Sri Lankan award-winning sustainable designer.
Jesse Lee, Hong Kong
Jesse designed our first upcycled Denim Reimagined collection transforming select Levi’s®️ aged inventory and irregular and leftover samples in a creative design effort to prolong denim’s lifespan. Jesse Lee won the Redress Design Award 2018 Second Prize as well as the Hong Kong Best Prize the same year.

A recent graduate from Australia’s Box Hill Institute, they combine their stand-out zero waste design expertise with their edgy streetwear aesthetic.
