R Product Spotlight: Recycled textile hangers with Levi’s® Hong Kong
Meet R Products recycled hangers. We think these are recycling heroes worth hanging around for!
We joined forces with Levi's® Hong Kong to create these purposeful recycled textile hangers, which we made by recycling excess denim waste collected from Hong Kong consumers’ discarded jeans as well as some of Levi's® excess aged inventory. We then partnered with Impact HK, a social enterprise that supports people experiencing homelessness in Hong Kong, to provide training and work opportunities for those in need.
Working alongside one of the world’s most iconic fashion brands and one of Hong Kong’s highly impactful social enterprises to find solutions to tricky waste streams proves the power of collaboration to make the near impossible - possible.
And hey presto! Here’s another collaborative design solution for some of the toughest waste streams to handle.
